Privacy

Plainly, how we treat your details.

Belgards Studio is a portrait studio in Arundel, Gold Coast. This page explains what we collect through this website and why. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.

Waitlist

When you join the waitlist we store your name, your email address, the suburb if you choose to give it, which part of the collection you are interested in, the page you signed up from, the time you signed up and the browser description your device sends (used only to spot automated signups). We use this only to tell you when Christmas session dates are released only. Joining does not reserve a session and costs nothing.

The list is stored in a database hosted by Supabase in Sydney and managed by Belgards Studio. We do not sell, rent or share the list. You can ask to be removed at any time by replying to any email you receive from us or by emailing hello@belgards.studio.

Bookings and payments

Bookings are made on the Belgards Studio booking platform, which we operate, with payments processed by Stripe (Apple Pay where available). Booking emails are sent through Resend. Your card details never touch this website. Booking records, including your contact details and appointment times, are held in the booking system so we can run your session, send reminders and deliver your gallery.

Photographs of your family

Your family’s portraits are private by default. We keep galleries private and only publish an image of your family if you have given separate, written permission for that specific use. Choosing not to permit publication never affects your session or delivery.

Analytics and cookies

This website sets no analytics or advertising cookies and loads no tracking scripts. The site contains a small, switched-off measurement layer that could, if we turn it on, count actions such as a button click or a completed waitlist signup. It is designed so that it can never send names, email addresses, phone numbers or anything you type. If we switch it on, we will describe the provider here first.
